Troubleshooting

    The most common questions, with the fix for each.

    Access

    I can't find Pro Signals V5 in Invite-Only Scripts

    Check that the TradingView username in the Member Hub exactly matches yours (it is case sensitive). Then refresh TradingView, or log out and back in.

    Access is usually granted within minutes. If it still doesn't show after an hour, email support@simplealgo.io with your TradingView username.

    The name on TradingView looks different

    The script may show as "Pro Signals V5" or "Pro Signals" on the chart, and the dashboard header may read "PRO SIGNALS V5.1". It is all the same indicator.

    Signals

    My signals look different after the update

    The update changed how signals are rated and filtered. Remove the indicator from your chart and add it again so every setting starts from the new defaults.

    I see too few signals

    Check Minimum stars: it hides everything below your choice. Set it to All signals. Then try Balanced or Aggressive Signal Mode, or a lower timeframe.

    I see too many signals

    Raise Minimum stars to ★★★ and up or higher, use Conservative Signal Mode, or move up a timeframe.

    A signal appeared and then disappeared

    Signals are only confirmed when the candle closes. Anything seen mid-candle is not final. Once the candle closes, the signal never changes.

    The dashboard says "loading" for a higher timeframe

    The chart doesn't have enough history loaded for that timeframe yet. Scroll back on the chart or wait a moment. On very new symbols it may stay unavailable.

    Volume shows as Close

    Some symbols (many forex pairs and indexes) have no real volume. Star 3 then checks for a strong close instead.

    Alerts

    My alerts stopped or show old values

    Alerts keep the settings from when they were created. After changing any setting, delete the alert and create a new one. See Alerts.

    I didn't get an alert for a signal I can see

    Check that the signal meets your Minimum stars. Hidden signals are not alerted. Also check the alert is for the same symbol and timeframe.

    Chart and display

    The chart looks cluttered

    Start from defaults and turn tools on one at a time. Signal Labels can be turned off while alerts and tracking keep running. See Recommended Settings.

    The dashboard covers my candles

    Under Display, change the Dashboard corner, or turn it off.

    Position size doesn't show

    Fill in Account under Risk Tools. When Account is 0, sizing is hidden.

    Position size looks wrong for my broker

    Pip and contract values vary by broker and account currency. Compare against your broker's contract specifications and round down.

    Simple Oscillator Pro

    Trade Fuel doesn't match my Pro Signals trade

    The two indicators are using a different Signal Mode or Minimum stars. Set them the same in both.

    Some columns are purple

    Coiling is on and the market is compressing. See the oscillator guide.

    I can't find Simple Oscillator Pro

    It's in Indicators, Invite-only scripts, on the TradingView account you gave us. Refresh after access is granted.

    Webhooks

    My webhook isn't receiving anything

    Webhooks need a paid TradingView plan. Check the URL, set Alert messages to JSON, and test with a request inspector first. See Webhooks & Automation.
