Trend, Momentum & Reversal Tools

Every tool here is drawn from the same engine as the signals, so they never disagree with each other. Turn on only the ones you use; most traders pick one trend tool plus the Reversal Bands.

    Trend Tools

    Trend Line

Trend Line: the line price has to cross to make a signal.

The exact line price has to cross to make a signal. While price is above it the trend is up; below it, down. The distance to the line tells you how close the trend is to flipping. Off by default.

    Active Trend

Active Trend: a smooth baseline in the trend color, shaded to price.

A smooth baseline in the trend color, shaded to price. The idea is simple: stay in while price holds its side of the line. Off by default.

    Trend Ribbon

Trend Ribbon: a soft cloud of moving averages in the trend color.

A soft cloud of moving averages in the trend color. It gets brighter when price is beyond all of them, which shows a strong, clean trend. Off by default.

    Trend Cloud

Trend Cloud: thins as the trend nears a flip and glows brighter with more checks passing.

A soft cloud under price in an uptrend and above it in a downtrend, hanging from the momentum line. It thins as price approaches the trend line, so a thin cloud means the trend is close to flipping. It glows brighter the more of the five star checks pass right now. Off by default.

    EMAs 20 / 50 / 200

The classic 20, 50 and 200 exponential moving averages, each with its own color (purple, orange and gray by default). Off by default.

    Momentum Tools

    Momentum Candles

Candles are colored green in an uptrend and red in a downtrend, brighter with stronger momentum. On by default. Turn off if you prefer your own candle colors.

    Momentum Line

The glowing line a signal candle has to close beyond. Green while price is above it, red while below. Off by default.

    Exit Flags

A ✖ when momentum turns against your open trade after the first target. A hint to take profit; the trade keeps tracking. Off by default.

    Reversal Tools

    Reversal Bands

Reversal Bands: shaded zones where price is stretched and likely to snap back.

Shaded zones above and below price where it is stretched and likely to snap back. They also power star 4: a signal only gets the "room to run" star if price has not already reached the reversal zone. On by default.

    Band Touches

A dot the first time price reaches the outer band, also available as an alert. Useful for spotting stretched moves and taking profit into them. Off by default.
