Summary of what matters most.
SimpleAlgo (“SimpleAlgo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects the information needed to run our website, accounts, billing, indicator access, support, and marketing. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use advertising and analytics technologies that may qualify as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. state privacy laws, and you can opt out at any time using the methods in Section 10. This Policy is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to personal information we process through simplealgo.io, simplealgo.ai, our member dashboard, emails, community channels we operate, and any related product or service (the “Services”). It does not apply to third-party platforms that have their own privacy policies and control their own processing, including TradingView, Whop, Discord, payment networks, and any exchange or broker you use. Your use of those platforms is governed by their terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
The Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. See Section 12.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name or display name, email address, and password credentials managed by our authentication provider.
- Purchase information: plan selected, order and membership identifiers, billing email, promotional codes, and transaction status received from our payment provider. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
- Platform linking information: your TradingView username and, if you choose to connect it, your Discord account identifier.
- Support and communications: messages, screenshots, chat transcripts, refund or dispute correspondence, and any information you volunteer in them.
- Marketing information: email addresses submitted through opt-in forms, offers, or lead magnets, and your communication preferences.
- User content: testimonials, reviews, community posts, and feedback you submit.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and connection data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and operating system, device type, language, and referring URL.
- Usage data such as pages and features viewed, clicks, session timing, video and lesson progress, onboarding steps completed, and error or diagnostic events.
- Marketing attribution data such as UTM parameters, referral or affiliate codes, and advertising click identifiers (for example Meta, TikTok, and Google click IDs) captured when you arrive from an ad or partner link.
- Cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies as described in Section 6.
- Security and anti-fraud signals such as sign-in events, IP history, and activity patterns used to detect abuse, chargeback fraud, and account sharing.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Our payment and membership provider sends us subscription status, renewal, cancellation, refund, and dispute events.
- Advertising and analytics partners may provide aggregated campaign and conversion measurement data.
- Identity providers (for example Google sign-in) provide the profile fields you authorize, typically name and email address.
2.4 Sensitive information
We do not request government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health data, or financial account credentials. Please do not send them to us. If you submit sensitive information voluntarily, you consent to our handling it as described here, and we may delete it.
3. How and Why We Use Information
- Provide the Services — create and secure accounts, grant and revoke indicator access on TradingView, deliver courses and documentation, and operate AI-assisted features.
- Billing and membership — process trials, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and disputes through our payment provider.
- Support — respond to requests, troubleshoot access, and maintain a record of what was resolved.
- Product improvement and analytics — understand feature usage, run A/B tests, measure funnels, and fix defects.
- Marketing — send offers, onboarding, and educational emails you may unsubscribe from at any time, and measure and optimize advertising.
- Affiliate attribution — credit referrals and detect fraudulent or self-referred conversions.
- Security, fraud prevention, and enforcement — detect abuse, license sharing, and payment fraud, defend chargebacks, and enforce our Terms.
- Legal compliance — meet tax, accounting, recordkeeping, and lawful-request obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (accounts, billing, access provisioning), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, analytics, direct marketing to existing customers, defending claims), consent (non-essential cookies, advertising technologies, and marketing email where required), and legal obligation (tax and compliance records).
5. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and afterwards only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy. Transaction, tax, chargeback-defense, and anti-fraud records are retained for the longer of the period required by applicable law or the period during which a related claim, dispute, or audit remains possible. Support communications and marketing suppression records are retained so we can honor prior requests. When information is no longer needed we delete it or de-identify it.
7. Marketing Communications
By purchasing, creating an account, or submitting your email through a form on our site, you agree to receive transactional messages (receipts, access instructions, security and billing notices) and, unless you opt out, marketing emails. Transactional messages are required to operate your account and cannot be unsubscribed from while your account is active. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing support@simplealgo.io.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, database row-level access policies, and restricted administrative access. No product, service, transmission method, or storage system is perfectly secure. We do not warrant that the Services will be free of unauthorized access, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim liability for events beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support@simplealgo.io immediately.
9. International Data Transfers
We operate from the United States and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live. Where required, transfers out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland are made under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary measures. By using the Services you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
10. Your Privacy Rights and How to Exercise Them
10.1 Rights that may apply to you
- Access to, and a copy of, the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion of personal information, subject to legal, security, billing, and dispute-defense exceptions.
- Portability of information you provided to us, in a machine-readable format.
- Objection to or restriction of certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Opt out of targeted advertising and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
- Freedom from discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
10.2 How to submit a request
Email support@simplealgo.io from the address associated with your account with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity before acting, and we may decline requests that are unverified, repetitive, manifestly unfounded, or excessive. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30 days, extendable where permitted). An authorized agent may submit a request with written proof of authority.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. Cancellation is governed by our Terms of Service, and we retain the records needed for billing, tax, and dispute purposes.
10.3 Region-specific notes
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the categories in Section 2 correspond to identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, and inferences. Sources, purposes, and disclosures are described in Sections 2 through 4. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
- Other U.S. states (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and Oregon): you have the rights listed above and may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision email; if your appeal is denied you may contact your state attorney general.
- EEA/UK/Switzerland: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, and we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
- Nevada: you may direct us not to sell covered information; we do not sell it.
11. AI-Assisted Features
Some features send your prompts, uploaded charts or images, and related account context to third-party model providers to generate a response. Do not submit confidential information, credentials, or personal information about other people. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable and are provided for informational and educational purposes only; they are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We may retain prompts and outputs to operate, monitor, secure, and improve the feature.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to and may not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete the account and the information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information may contact support@simplealgo.io.
13. Third-Party Links and Platforms
Our Services link to third-party websites, communities, and platforms we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices, and this Policy does not apply to them. Review their policies before providing information.
14. No Financial Advice; No Guarantees
Nothing on this page or elsewhere in the Services is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Results shown in marketing are individual experiences and are not typical, verified, or a guarantee of future results. See our Terms of Service and Risk Disclaimer for the full disclaimers, limitation of liability, arbitration agreement, and class action waiver that apply to your use of the Services.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy at any time. Material changes take effect when posted with an updated “Last Updated” date, and where practical we will provide notice by email or in-product. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel your subscription.
16. Contact Us
