    Sensitivity Modes

SimpleAlgo includes three sensitivity modes that control how reactive the algorithm is to price movement. These settings don't change the underlying logic—they simply control how frequently confirmation signals appear based on volatility and trend strength.

    Choosing the Right Mode

The sensitivity mode you choose should match your trading timeframe, risk tolerance, and strategy. Each mode is optimized for different market conditions and trading styles.

    Swing Trader Mode

    Low Sensitivity • Higher Timeframes

    Overview

This is the least sensitive mode. It filters out smaller price fluctuations and focuses on major structural reversals and established trend continuation signals.

    Best For:

    • • 1H, 4H, Daily, and Weekly timeframes
    • • Position traders
    • • Lower trade frequency
    • • Cleaner, high-probability setups

    Characteristics:

    • • Fewer signals overall
    • • Reduced noise
    • • Focus on major reversals
    • • Ideal for patient traders

    When to Use

Choose Swing Trader Mode when you want to focus on significant market moves and avoid getting caught in short-term noise. Perfect for traders seeking fewer but cleaner opportunities.

    Day Trader Mode

    Balanced Sensitivity • Intraday Timeframes

    Overview

This mode offers a balanced level of sensitivity. It produces a moderate number of confirmation signals appropriate for intraday timeframes.

    Best For:

    • • 5m, 15m, and 30m charts
    • • Intraday traders
    • • Balanced trade frequency
    • • Most versatile mode

    Characteristics:

    • • Moderate signal frequency
    • • Controlled noise levels
    • • Mix of trends and reversals
    • • Recommended for most users

    Recommended Starting Point

Day Trader Mode is the most versatile setting and is recommended for users getting started with SimpleAlgo. It captures both trend continuation and micro-reversal opportunities while keeping noise controlled.

    Scalper Mode

    High Sensitivity • Fast Timeframes

    Overview

This is the most reactive setting. The algorithm detects very small fluctuations in price and generates a larger number of confirmation signals.

    Best For:

    • • 1m–5m timeframes
    • • High-frequency traders
    • • Maximum opportunity flow
    • • Quick entries and exits

    Characteristics:

    • • High signal frequency
    • • Lower individual accuracy
    • • Rapid market reactions
    • • Requires strict risk management

    Important Note

While individual signal accuracy is lower in Scalper Mode, this setting is strongest when paired with strict risk management tools such as Dynamic Take Profits and Auto Trailing Stop Loss. Not recommended for beginners.
