Reversal Bands
Reversal Bands are dynamic volatility-based overlays that help identify when price is reaching extremes. Unlike traditional Bollinger Bands, these bands adapt to market conditions and work in conjunction with SimpleAlgo's momentum calculations.

How They Work
- • Upper Band: Represents overbought conditions
- • Lower Band: Represents oversold conditions
- • Adapts to market volatility in real-time
Best Used For
- ✓ Identifying potential areas of exhaustion
- ✓ Combining with Show Reversals diamonds for confirmation
- ✓ Spotting momentum weakness at extremes
- ✓ Setting take profit levels
💡Pro Tip
Reversal Bands work best when combined with other confirmation tools. A touch of the upper band doesn't automatically mean "sell"—wait for additional confluence like a reversal diamond or bearish confirmation signal.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
❌ Trading Band Touches Alone
Don't enter a trade simply because price touches a band. Always wait for additional confirmation.
❌ Ignoring Trend Context
In strong trends, price can "ride" the upper or lower band for extended periods. Consider the broader trend direction.
