    Bar Color

Bar Color is a visual system that changes the color of candlesticks based on the current market environment. This allows you to instantly recognize trend direction, momentum shifts, and potential reversal zones without adding extra indicators to your chart.

    SimpleAlgo Bar Color System

    How It Works

Bar Color automatically adjusts candlestick colors based on SimpleAlgo's internal momentum and trend calculations:

    Green Bars

Bullish momentum detected—favorable for long positions

    Red Bars

Bearish momentum detected—favorable for short positions

    ~

    Neutral/Gray Bars

Weak momentum or transitional phase—caution advised

    Best Used For

    • ✓ Training your eye to recognize trend changes faster

    Trading with Bar Color

    Bullish Environment

    When bars are consistently green:

    • • Focus on long setups and buy signals
    • • Avoid counter-trend short positions
    • • Trail stops as momentum continues

    Bearish Environment

    When bars are consistently red:

    • • Focus on short setups and sell signals
    • • Avoid counter-trend long positions
    • • Trail stops as momentum continues

    Transitional Phase

When bars alternate colors or turn neutral/gray, the market is likely consolidating or transitioning. Reduce position sizes or wait for clearer directional bias before entering new trades.

    💡Pro Tip

Bar Color is perfect for traders who want a clean chart. Enable Bar Color and disable other overlays to get a minimalist view that still captures all the essential momentum information.

    ⚠️Important Note

Bar Color changes reflect momentum, not guaranteed future direction. Always combine Bar Color with other confirmation tools like signals, structure, and risk management for best results.
