Introducing Zone Master: Free Supply and Demand Zones, Kept Honest
We just released Zone Master, a free and open-source indicator on TradingView.

Most supply and demand tools draw a box and leave it there forever. Zone Master draws zones that keep track of themselves: how fast price left, how many times they have been tested, and how much of them is left.
What counts as a zone
A zone is the quiet base price left in a hurry: a handful of bars that stayed inside a couple of ATRs, followed by a departure of a few ATRs within a few bars. A move up from the base makes demand, a move down makes supply. A slow drift away is not a departure, so it is not a zone.
Zones that wear down
As price trades back into a zone, it melts from the edge price meets first. Leaving without closing through it counts as a test that held. A close beyond the far edge ends it, and after a few tests a zone is retired whatever is left of it. Every zone is labelled fresh or tested so many times.
The pad and the launch line
The base is drawn as a pad with its departure written on it, such as 2.6 ATR, and a launch line runs from the pad to where the move ended. You can see the move that made each zone, not just the box it left behind.
The panel and alerts
The panel names the nearest demand and supply, how far away they are and how fast price left them. It keeps the score of the last ten zone tests on this chart, and its Read row says in one sentence where price sits and which close would break the zone in play.
Six alerts cover new demand and supply zones, price reaching a zone, a zone holding and a zone breaking.
None of this predicts where price goes. A zone shows where price left in a hurry before, not a promise it will react there again.
