About Profile Master
Profile Master is a free, open-source volume profile for TradingView. Instead of a histogram pinned to one moment, it draws the value area as a cloud that moves with the chart: the range holding 70% of the volume in the cluster the market is trading in, built from the last 90 bars. The thin line inside is the point of control, the price where the most volume changed hands.
Both are rebuilt on every bar from lower timeframe volume at price, and older bars fade out of the profile gradually, so the cloud drifts with the market instead of jumping. There are no labels on the chart. Price inside the cloud, outside it, or coming back in is the whole read, and the panel in the corner says it in words.
Four events are tracked and alertable: accepted above value, accepted below value, back into value from above and back into value from below. They only count when price did the moving, and they are decided on closed bars.
